Walter Hopkin


Mr. Hopkin has over 23 years of experience in many civil engineering and planning disciplines. He has worked with many national, regional, as well as local residential and commercial builders. His experience in both the municipal and private aspects of projects provides a well-rounded approach to virtually any job. Projects that he has worked on include site plan, subdivision, and roadway construction projects for various municipal, industrial, educational, and private entities.

He has also performed contract document preparation, bid services support, and construction administration/observation. Walter is decorated with several certifications including New Jersey Planning Officials (NJPO)- Municipal Planning and Zoning Program, Subchapter 8: The Septic Rules- Rutgers University, Underground Storage Tanks, and more.

Walter holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Drexel University and diligently participates in continuing his education to stay abreast of industry and regulatory changes and trends.

You can find Walter participating in the many civic and professional societies that keeps him connected to these communities, including as a member of the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross’ Jersey Coastal Chapter.

Walt likes spending time with his family, hunting, shooting, and rooting for the Baltimore Ravens (where he grew up).
