Connor Gormley

Connor has experience with a wide array of land development and transportation projects. Throughout his career he has designed site, grading, landscape, utility, and erosion & sediment control plans as well as participated in construction inspection and coordination. He has worked with numerous engineering design programs such as AutoCAD, Microstation, ArcGIS, HydroCAD, and HEC-RAS. This experience allows him to design projects with stormwater solutions that emphasize functionality and resilience for clients. Connor enjoys using nature-based design to create a comprehensive stormwater approach that utilizes a variety of BMPs and plant material to adhere to DEP standards while creating charming outdoor spaces.

Connor is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with a concentration in Water Resources. Since graduating he has taken classes administered by the Coastal Zone Foundation in Coastal Engineering, Coastal Resiliency, and Engineering with Nature. Connor is a registered EIT and is currently studying for the PE exam with hopes to gain licensure in the near future.

Outside of work, Connor enjoys playing games such as golf, cornhole, board games and trivia. He also enjoys leisurely activities such as reading, sitting by the fire, and taking his dogs to the park. Connor has mastered the art of patience and optimism through his beleaguered support of the Jets, Angels, Pitt, and several underperforming fantasy football teams.
