Christopher Mcdowell

Chris is a licensed Professional Engineer with over 30 years of experience delivering high quality civil engineering solutions throughout New Jersey. Chris is known for his precision in design, strong attention to detail, and consistent success in achieving project approvals.

His expertise spans the planning, design and management of a wide range of projects, including major and minor subdivisions, commercial site plans, septic system designs, individual plot plans, and pool grading plans. Chris is also experienced in preparing and securing approvals for many projects involving the NJDEP, NJDOT, Soil Conservation Districts, among others.

He is proficient in AutoCad and uses advanced hydrology software such as Hydrology Studio for drainage and pipe design. He has also conducted technical evaluations, review project drawings and reports, and participated in both formal and informal design reviews for a wide range of engineering projects.

His strengths include thoughtful due diligence evaluation, comprehensive layout and design of subdivisions and site plans – including grading, drainage, utility layout, soil erosion control and design and repair of septic systems.

Chris earned his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University, College of Engineering and is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and stay up to date with engineering practices through Continuing Education programs.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys attending live music events, hiking with friends and family, woodworking, and tending to his vegetable garden.
