Charles “Max” Miskolcy

Max is an EIT and one of our Civil Designers, with over 18 years of experience in the fields of surveying and civil engineering. Max has long had an interest in Civil engineering and construction. His career started out as an intern on LBI teaching himself AutoCAD over the course of a summer, reinforcing his passion into a career. Max has a wide range of skills heavily influenced by his years working in the shore communities of Ocean County including flood plain management, and flood resistant design, site design, utility design, residential foundation inspection, and design, NJDEP coastal permitting and surveying.

Over the course of his career, Max has worked on may projects helping to develop countless properties including sites such as Fantasy Island & Thundering Surf Amusement parks, Victoria Rose Condominiums, Ocean Community Church, and the rebuilding of the boardwalk & pier in Seaside Heights after Hurricane Sandy. He has a master’s degree in Civil Engineer from NJIT and aspires to licensure as a P.E.

When not working to help develop the visions of clients, Max volunteers his time as chairman of his local planning board bringing his skills to bear to help his own community. He enjoys spending time clamming in the Barnegat Bay, making homemade hot sauce, reading, and playing grand strategy games.
